I would not call it a sport, rather it is just a game) in which you can arrange competitions)

Well, as for me - sport. Chess is also a sport, although there is no running, no jumping, no muscles are measured. Not so long ago, esports was officially recognized. Before that, it was just a computer game and nothing more. There is a competitive moment in billiards, which means it can be a sport.

Yes, I think it is considered as a sport because it makes use of muscle energy, reflexes and burns a lot of energy in the process. Billiards also requires a lot of skill and concentration. In my opinion, anything we do that consists of skill and concentration should be considered a sport. Thus, I feel that billiards should be considered a sport. Balls. Goals. Skill. Opponent. Defensive strategy. SPORT! Absolutely!! Though not physically taxing. Although not as physically exerting as other sports. Billiards is the set of all games played indoors with cues and spherical balls on a flat surface where the gameplay is driving the cue into a ball in order so that the struck ball may hit other balls in order to accomplish the objective of the game. As such, American pool, snooker, the various forms of carom (pocketless-tabled) billiards, English pool, are all considered "billiards".
