I am facing a bit strange problem on Opel Meriva B 1.7 cdti, i would appreciate, if any one have idea or already had similar problem, to help me.
Strange thing is that car keeps cranking and all lights on cluster stay on even if key is released from cranking position 3 to position 2 and keeps cranking without start. Its stop cranking only if key is turned all the way back to 0 position.
I did had Opels with no crank problems, but nonstop cranking is first time for me
I have changed 2 blue relays located in UEC (engine compartment fuse box) coz they was showing burning signs, and i think one is for starter, but unfortunately, i could not find any diagrams for relays only fuses diagrams, so if anyone having wiring or relays diagram for Meriva B, please share.
Even bigger problem with this Meriva is that is not happening all the time, just from time to time. It could start fine for 2 weeks or more and run fine, then suddenly happens. Sometimes disconnecting battery could help, and sometimes needs to be left for a day to starts again...
No error codes in any module as well .
Im not sure if could be ignition lock or UEC coz its acting weird and it happens only occasionally.
