Cool Mini R50 3K91D HW 09 SW 19 mileage update OBD or on PCB ? Which tool and soft?

    Hi guys,

I've been going through almost all posts for having a clear understanding for my Mini R50 mileage update and translate from miles to KM on the dashboard with 3K91D mask and HW 09 and SW 19 , but I've not found satisfaction.
Now that I have a clearer idea I got many questions and hope somone can help me with a clear reply to the different points.

I have a Mini cooper R50 2003 with a dash in double metrics ( Miles and KM) but mileage display on LCD in miles.
I want to update the mileage, for that I have a FVDI 2016 and galetto tools and waiting for the shippment of a CarProg, x-prog and R270 tools.

After trying with the FVDI tool, I've not been able to update mileage as the write function is disabled on the odometer calibration function as you can see it on the picture attached, but I've been able to extract EEPROM file from IKE (Instrument Cluster Electronics) picture attached as well.
After getting this in hand, I've not found any soft that can't translate the mileage or even tell me at which byte position is the mileage stored.
So do someone know if I can use this file (attached) to update the mileage and with which soft?

In case FVDI can't do the job by OBD, can I do it directly with FVDI on board with the different plugs I got with it?

In case FVDI can't do the job at all, I've ordered CarProg, x-Prog and R270 tools, which one shoold I use and what are the softs you suggest me I need to open the extrated data with?

    Thanks

this read isnt full , you need to read mc9s12dg128 mcu on bench with a programmer , xprog or r270 would read it .. post file here ..
mileage is stored in lines 400 to 470 , your file has only 3F0 ...

piece of advice: dont trust fvdi too much , its good in many ways but shit in as many ways
If i was helpful DONT forget the THANKS and REP button

If you don't wont have problems with this dash / with 3K91D/ don't try with chines shits !! R270 is not good for this dash!
    Use original programers only!

It's mc912dg128a on MINI KMB, mileage it stored on area mentioned above but is also a pair of bytes within the flash that count also (mean can count anything from 0-255 without changing flash area, usually is close enough however to change just EEPROM area itself and is a counting hexadecimal matrix. All entries are summed together and as count goes up next higher byte is injected into start of matrix area and process goes on). I made a matrix counter in excel which can do the job, so feel free to upload the 2KB here and the amount of KM required. I won't share this formula because not one person helped me figure this stuff out on here. Can change also the whole VIN area, I tested last night but nobody help me with that either but I will offer to make a change for part of the VIN for you which is enough for good functioning.
