what scan tool did you use? these should clear with scan tool. I have not had a 2017 or 18 GM not allow me to clear.

Module came in to me without the car, i tried clearing with carprog on the bench with gm can obd, it reads vin and communicates fine but won't clear 0051 deployment comanded

newer GM like 2017 and up need to always open them up, with scanner doesnt work most of the time
