I am wondering if anyone can help me replace the ecu gearbox of a citroen c4 grand picasso year 2014 diesel 1.6L automatic

I am replacing with a second hand module not a new.

Can it be a direct swap? Or should i reprogram to adapt the new ecu? Is it possible to swap some eeprom to get the car to accept the new ecu?

I swapped and the car would not start.

Hi. Thanks for your help. Can you guide me as to what elements needs to be replaced? It's a real headache even the dealer can't find that ECU on their system

resolder all, i think there is many cold ironing points, producer economise soldering operation ...
I didn't exchange it ... but i thing you must change vin and make adaptation with diagbox (maybe modules must be virginize - i didn't know)
