    Default Citroen DS5 96 786 917 80

    Hi friends,
I need your help. I have problem with the DS5 following SRS unit 96 786 917 80 with eeprom 95640.

I tried clearing it manually but there was still crash fault. The light is on. I also tried cleaning it with Carprotool and Caprog online but still get the same faults.

Can someone please check the files and help me with this problem.

    Best regards,
    BuuL

Thanks for fast replay. Unfortunetly I tried this clearing method, and it didn't work. The airbag light is still on and the fault is still there.

Unfortunately this clear also won't work. There is a problem now that there is no reaction on disconnected airbag.

Go through settings and look for “locked”

So after last try with dragon and robert file the ecu didn't saw any id numbers which is really strange. Today after going back to original file diagnostic tool reads properly id number and crash data. There is also fault that unit is locked. So I again tried the file cleared with CarProTool but the faults are still there. So in my own opinion there is something wrong with this unit or I don't have luck. Customer took the unit and he will try with to do it himself.

I will write later the resault.

Anyway thank you all for great support!

    BuuL

    Hello to all.

    Buul test his file.

Normal 95640 is 8.00KB ( 0 - 1FFF ). Your crash file is 8.01KB ( one line more, line 2000 ). I have resized your file. Check your programmer or try other programmer.

Thank yor for your file but I don't have the unit anymore and I think its too late to get it back. But thanks for trying. By the way, the additional line is added by Wellon programmer and its normal. I always cut this last line with UPA soft so I can use this file in crash software solutions.

    Hi friends,
I've got a little update. I've lately had 3 other units with the same pcb but different number. Clearing crash in eeprom doesn't help. Customers bought second hand units with the same numbers without crash history and after programming them with original cleared eeprom solves the problem.

So there must be hard fault stored in uP which is not accessible with diagnostic interfaces (different types).

    Br,
    BuuL
