CARPROG DIY ADAPTER FOR EEPROMS

Hi guys.Since i cannot use carprog for reading eeproms besides the clip adpater i thought i can make my own adapter.I used this schematics,works just fine for 95xxx and 93cxxx but..........with 24 and 25xxx type eeprom it does not want to read it ,it only shoes 0000000000 everywhere.Can anyone help me ? is there anything i need to modify?

Hy, look to eeprom were must be first pin to conect, can you rotate.

Read the post.I have succesfully read 93cxx and 95cxx ,but with 24cxx doesn t work.Is not a problem of contact or rotation,is something wrong with my wiring i guess

Ok it didn t work because i did not plug the 12v adaptor.For those of you who want to make this adapter,is very handy and i higly suggest you to make one of your own.

For read and write 24cXX not need connect external 12V power supply!

This is what i knew ,but aparently if i feed 12v power it works just fine .God knows why

Just because it is not good hardware .Bad components.
