Looking for some guidance on Stage 1 BKC EDC16

I've been getting into Mapping recently and have spent a lot of time on the later version of the ecu, but this seems to be missing many maps that most guides suggest it should have (Drivers Wish for example).

Also what would the harm be if i flashed a

bin file instead?

Hi, never flash other file not from your ecu if you don't know what you do! You can brick your ecu.

Hi,
for example Audi A3 1.9 tdi pd 105 hp, with EDC16U1 has several different software versions (5347,5497,7640,.....). And if you try to write other flash memory software version without flashing processor memory , you wont be able to start engine. This isn't easy job!
Different versions have different map structure and adresses.
You have mistake in your winols project, I see that you're beginner... do you know what is boost limiter map? X-axis is not MAF value, it is air pressure value (1000 mbar....).

Also your boost and boost limiter maps are not good!
Turbocharger of this engine can't hold 1,45 bar of boost for longer period.Also limiter is lower than your target boost..Why?

Torque to Iq map is changed. Why? This is bad activity, avoid doing this. ou can only extend x-axis and calculate iq for higher maf value.

Now:
- boost pressure is good (just maybe you should't change values in 15,20,25 mg)!
- boost pressure limit better now, but don't change last value of x-axis
- from my experience it's useless to change x-axis values in iq limit_maf map you canjust recalculate last column(interpolate), or maybe you know better.

iq bad not good
turbo wrong all flat percentage
driver wish not touched
some maps not touched
hot and cold start why too much fuel added you can brake camshaft very easy
you need more to learn about remap and to calculate what are you doing

AV - A few questions:
1. Could you point out where the Drivers Wish is? I looked over and over, but couldn't find it anywhere - and i've been unable to find the Damos for it.
2. What are the other maps that are untouched?
3. This file was pulled from my ecu, I realised that EGR had been turned and other areas had been altered, but I didn't realise it had other major changes.

I'll rework from an original so that I know what i've changed.

Yes, agree with AVDigitale. Iq, lambda not good.
you must first learn to find, detect, and read main maps..
