Need help to install pickit 3 programer software

Need help to install pickit 3 clone programmer software by teamviewer. Ready to pay.

I want to program pic 16lf87. Installed pickit 3.10 software, but there i cannot find this type of chip.

When i was a kid, the “L” in most chips stood for “low power” for battery operated stuff

not sure but understand the F is OTP

I also don't have available that chip for programming.
Do you have the datasheet? (i only find the datasheet of pic16f87)

I was able to find it at mplab x ipe

Replace the same file in the directory of pickit 3 and try. (if it is the same with pic16f87 only low voltage it will work)
It is at Midrange Family/Standard.

programming the 16lf87 is the same as 16f87, there are only 2 differences between them, operating voltage and max frecvency,
the operating voltage 2 to 5,5v for 16lf87 , max 10mhz vs 4 to 5,5 v for 16f87, max 20 mhz

take a look on page 166 of 16f87 datasheet, figure 18-1 for 16f87 and figure 18-2 for 16lf87

i have pickit 4 but problem is there is no standalone software for it...IPE is too complicated and need high configuration computer to work on it...
anybody has pickit4 standalone software please share link if possible...need software like pickit3...

i use old 16f/18f pic's as they are cheap and work well, for that i use mplab ide v 8.85 to load a bootloader into the pic thru scl/sda pins for the first time, with a icd2 clone,
once the bootloader is programmed in the pic, the compiler software(i can tell you the manufacturer in pm , not to be considered an advertisement, the compiler software nowadays is free but it's useful) it's loading the program thru serial pins, like the @duino
i prefer the compiler versus mplab as mplab is too complicated for my needs

I think IPE is standalone software.
What do you mean "need high configuration computer to work on it".?
You just have to point the builded hex file to flash (whatever compiler you use).
I used to use Mikroc pro for pics. Fairly simple and complete suite. And then point to the hex file in IPE and flash. No other configurations...
