Default honda cbf1000 2006 trip counter issue

    hi guys,

after calibration of honda cbf1000 the trip counter gets reset everytime ignition is swichted off. everything else is fine.

i read/write as a honda varadero 125 as it looked like same algo. perhaps something is missing in dump?

i found dump off cbf1000 here in dk, i would like to use to try fix with but need 42000km. it should have 27000km on this dump.

    Many thanks!

Reset Trip manually, it should be fine.

Trip goes back to 0 every time you switch off. It doesn’t keep counting..

I have had this problem on some clusters after correction, solved by driving it and resetting the trip after ~1 Km while still driving.
Please DO NOT PM me asking for help.

Post in the forum, that is what it is here for.

In most Honda's, although the 00 is displayed, the reset button must be held. And everything comes into place.

How do mean? Is there a special procedure when to push the reset button?

I’ve tried pushing it after 1km of driving but goes to 00 after ignition is turned off again..
