if so your ecu connection is wrong
+ve pin 27 , 15 , 4 ( pin 27 is the output of ecu current supply relay )
-ve pin 2 , 28
k-line pin 29

hello,
i try to delete some dtc's from this ecu magneti marelli 4ev.ar
i have fgtech kess and ktag and im608 and programmers like orange, xprog upa and stuff like that.
but i try to read this ecu with fgtech bootmode st10f280
i made connections as follow
pin 1 and 2 ground
pin 4 and 15 plus
and pin 29 k-line
is there any resistor i need to place on the board or something i need to remove before trying to read ?
because with those connections i made it is not working at all.
hope some one can help me in the right way

but the thing is i connected im608 as follow
pin 1 and 2 ground
pin 4 and 15 plus
pin 29 k-line
and than i can communicate with ecu read dtc and stuff like that.
but im608 can not make full read of this ecu.
See if 2 and 28 are together at ground... find it measuring between them and a condenser minus from pcb
Pin 1 see if has a reverse diode on pcb adn if yes, that is the Plus missing... that is why you have no power for reading the file. Ktag will read it as IAW4HV if you follow the boot procedure as in my picture. Good luck
again you missing pin 27 main power for ecu and pin 28 ground , pin 1 is for o2 heater circuit according to vw elsa
