Default Volvo V50 30773786 CFFF Pinout

Hello, im trying to read this airbag module with carprog, i think i have correct pinout, only problem is i don't really understand "pinout lift" or "lift up", Does it mean i have to desolder just that pin from the board before connecting the wire to it? if thats correct does someone have any soldering tips on how to lift just one pin? the pins on the chip is tiny.

    THanks in advance.

Yes, it means to desolder and lift this pin. It can be done carefully with tool like razor or small grabbers. I know a few people like to cut them with scalpel and then solder it up when done. I really dislike lifting pins but its not all that hard when you get comfortable with your method.

I actually just read this airbag (or similar to it) the other day and did not lift any pins to do it. The pinout is really easy to determine just looking at unit with a dmm.

I used ori xprog and worked ok without lifting. Double check pin out in datasheet or your tool but looks about right. If you have trouble soldering wire cleanly to mcu pin a easier solder point for reset can be found other side of board

thats the other side of the board, any chance you remember the slightly easier reset pin?

Not really but its easy to use a meter with continuity setting. Its one of the test points right under mcu from other side
