    Question Looking for full boot backup MED17.5

    Hi guys.

    was looking for a full backup to recover a messed up MED17

    ecu info:
    MED17.5 TC1766

    5K0907115 / 0040
    0261S04951
    1037510467

    Car info

    Golf 6 Gti
    CCZB 211HP
    DSG

    Anyone got this and willing to share?
    Help would be greatly appreciated

    What is the problem? what happend to ecu? how it got messed?

    Customer wanted get his car back to ori, i contacted tuner who did the car.
    He sent back ori from car (or so he said)
    after flashing the ori i got checksum block error.

    Turned out the guy sent not the ori but a stock file from alientech , so now ecu is srewed up
    epprom sw version didnt match mpc etc

    You may solve it flashing FRF/SGO with ODIS or VCP. Which tools do you have to try to recover it?

    i have Kes/Ktag , MPPS, Fgtech, Avdi and VCDS

    i dont understand why you have bosch SW 1037510467 and vag SW 0040

    original tuner messed up files, so thats why different sw versions, thanks for reply

    post here your readout and someone will repair.

    in attachment are .sgo files to restore this ecu, choose the right SW and flash it with VCP, ODIS_E or any tools support frf/sgo files.

    you can also decrypt it and flash with normal chiptuning tool
