Yaris 2007 is there key code on ignition lock if I dismantle yes or no, any help very much appreciated.

No keycode on the ignition but wafer are stamp with reverse number 1=4, 2=3, 3=2, 4=1 in the USA the passengers door has code if there a key hole.

it is not the best job to do with lishi, I have done a week ago yaris 2012 and I had to waste about 8 blades to do it right one ;-/

9 cuts total, last cut nearest to the tip is always a 2.
I would give it a go with lishi decoder, and impressioning might work.

These locks, so far i remember, they cilinder core is pulled in whilst turning ignition on.
Before using a lishi, or impressioning make sure it does or doesnt.


Is there no door lock, they are open on the bottom, and the shims are vissible.

Toy47 easy!
I had problems to pick door lock unlock but to pick it to lock position no problem. Decode in lock,cut key and unlock. follow @rob h tips and you will be fine.

If its TR47 and door is already unlocked then the door lock is extremely easy to disassemble and sight read or view stamps wafers. Probably just as quick (and more reliable) then lishi honestly.
