    Default Programmer recomandation

Hi guys.I m working pretty hard into immo and car electronics lately,i have VVDI Prog,Carprog and Xprog 5.55.Recently xprog died (it reads bad every eeprom) so i m not trusting to work with it .Car prog doesn t have any adapter to solder the eeprom on it and vvdi prog sucks when it comes to eeproms( i had a very bad time writing a 24c02 yesterday) .Can anyone recommend me a good and reliable programmer that works good with eeproms? I was looking at UPA ,and MiniPro .I know orange5 is my way to go but it s a little bit out of buget .Thanks

Read what I wrote in My Toys (link in signature), after my experience you can't Miss O5. When low on money, buy a chinese version for beginning.
I had never any kind of troubles with my X-Prog 5.0, try to get an older version.

Depend of the budget you want to spending, I recommend you this UUSP-S (UPA-USB Serial Programmer-S) original from Elrasoft.com http://elrasoft.com/uusps.htm if you don't want to have problems in future, or you can take another programmer from Elnec.com but more expensive.

For UUSP-S (UPA-USB Serial Programmer-S) I have also nice adapter build by me what work also with old UPA USB programmer what is also good, in my adapter you can solder eeprom or can use in circuit programming ICP eeprom or MCUs, depend of needs.

    This is my adapter.
