What's the difference in those advanced/professional opcoms.

Still waiting for my HQ clone to arrive so can't try myself.
I have two Insignias and
Wife has K Astra so have been using GDS2+VXDIAG so far but somehow i like opcom more because it has those programming abilities

What do you need firmware 1.95 for? It's a Chinese trick. Last real FW is 1.67. Changing the FW is only possible if your Opcom has a real PIC 18F458.

Hello to all,
I have bought an opcom from obd2cartool with real PIC on v1.7. I have downgraded to 1.67 succesfully and I wanted to make a modification to ver.C. When I turned my board on the opposite side I noticed that it looks different from Fantomel guide. see photos. Board is marked as OPCOM_NEW.
Can you advice me please, if it is useless board or can be modified ? and which trace to cut according to manual ?
