ok thx, maybe I'll try
pass. please OC 150406d EN
hi I downloaded and installed version 16 and the last 20 of fantomel for an opel meriva B engine A13DTE ... I wanted to do a forced regeneration of the dpf but in programming it does not give me the button to do it .. some other button in programming there is like replacing injectors but forced regeneration no ... then it is dimmed and I can't even use OUTPUT TEST..normal? has anyone regenerated with opcom china? is there any other software?
Once I tried to do a forced regeneration in Opel Corsa D 1.3 DTH 2013. Opcom HQ 160115a PL software. Also, there was no option in "Programing". I was able to burn out the DPF while driving. Regeneration turned on for me 4 or 5 times. I traveled about 40 kilometers during that time. The filling dropped from 200 to 80. I have viewed it in the measured value blocks.
I think the GDS 2 has more possibilities.

Thank you good work!
Hey
Can anyone confirm if this is the right pic and can this flash.
I would not want to use the included programs because they contain viruses.
Thank you.
On Ali there is version 1.99, is it good?
Can you recommend a link for a good diagnosis?
Opcoms with Firmware 1.99 have a 99% fake PIC 18F458. A real PIC may have Opcoms with FW 1.70 or 1.95 but not always. You never know what the Chinese seller will ship ..
(I have 2 pcs from the first link but I bought in summer 2021).
When purchasing, please note that SW 200603a or 181022a is made by FANTOMEL and you don't have to pay for them. It is available together with other SWs in this topic .
Check it out here:

I've tried to use links from 1st page but it looks files has been removed.
Other thing is that somewhere on another thread I've seen that software needs activation for exact interface
To be honest I'm a bit afraid because 1.59 firmware and vauxcom 120309A works, so I was able to set BC in my Corsa.
Thing is that 120309A is slow - I have to wait ages to get program to talk with interface.
Apart of that I feel that in 120309A programming menus are having incorrect options like from other modules. Or sometimes you have just 3 options, but you click next page and then previous, and you suddenly new more options appeared.
So I wonder actually what I need to get never version ? and if will it work better then mentioned vauxcom 120309a?
Is that worth to upgrade if My Cars are Zafira 2004 and Corsa 2011 ?
Thanks
oscarr
On page # 2 you have links from Fantomel. One of them (YADI /YANDEX) with Opcom software is still running and includes ADVANCED versions.
If your opcom has FW 1.59 it probably has a fake PIC. If this is the case, after using a newer SW, the FW will be automatically updated and the PIC will be damaged.
The newer Fantomel software is cracked in a similar way to VAUX Com 120309a and on my laptop with WIN OS 8.1 64 bit it works slowly but on the other one with WIN 7 32 bit it is fine.

I've opened it and there is no D5 and C22 and PCB looks like that:

This is auction/seller that I've purchased from:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154711541759
I know you're experienced person, but 1.59 is correct version of opcom firmware.
It was included with vauxcom 120309A in firmwares directory as latest avaiable.
So it is plausible my opcom has correct PIC.
I have also fake pic version of OPCOM and it looks different - the chip has signs of polishing (so was reprinted) and there are D5 and C22.
And indeed it crashed after changing firmware.
Here is photo of fake PCB from aliexpress

PS. I can't find any links on second page - there are PDF files to download only.

The description provided by the seller shows that the firmware can be changed. .
My Opcom has a PCB like in the first photo, but on the other side there are no electronic components, only soldering.
Just try to use the newer SW Opcom (Fantomel) and you will find out if the seller wrote the truth.
By the way, you will check the operation of two Opcom 11xxxxxEN and 16xxxxxEN ADVANCED SW.
(Download PDF and open. Links are there)

Great - thanks,
Now I'm trying to follow the guide, and when I try to restore FTDI to file attached to archive I'm getting warning:
I'm a bit worried to click yes - so I prefer to ask about thatCode:File does not match the Device. Should it be programmed anyway?
Is there any table which firmware is for which opcom version ?
Is there any most stable/best version ?
Okay. I assumed it don't matter as long as I have backup of my original FTDI.
So I've flashed with 1.67 and it looks it worked but since my laptop has weak battery I'm unable to check in the car without power extension lead.
So will do that tomorrow.
