    Default W212 and Mercedes DAS/Xentry

    I was wondering:

is there a trick to diagnose a W212 with the classic DAS (with dev key) or is it only possible to diagnose with Xentry?
I want to adapt the ZGW values of a GLK with A212 part number but I get the error: unknown variant .

If it' s possible to diagnose a w212 with classic das I should only update the base data set to the latest version (09/2010) instead of 05/2010. The car is btw of 04/2010.

For now only w204 password removed , you need Xentry with developer key ... why you dont try to read the ZGW with a programer such as X prog ?

I haven't tried to read out ZGW with Xentry Developer.
Is it possible to adapter the values with Xentry in the same way as with das? I put a quick look but i did not see any development data (entwicklungs daten)?

i read on some polish forums that it should be possible but I couldn't really figure out how they managed it exactly.

Hi. In the DAS W212 and W207 is only prototypes and don`t work. I tried to make their workers, yet only 204 turned out.

You're right, but prototypes will work on real 212 or 207 with appropriate settings.

I had the last 2009 release installed and could get into W212s. It was very flaky and not really all there like it is on Xentry from 01.2010 and onward.

What did you actually do to get into the "W212 Prototyp" car selection?

This bothers me even if I don't see the need for the W212 DAS menu but I saw a hard drive from a Chinese Star tool supplier where the W212 menu from DAS was active.

They had extracted the W212 and W207 (perhaps others) folders from the zip file at the F:\Programme\DAS\Trees\PKW\Prototyp folder. I tried the same but this did not seem to be sufficient.

I saw a member explaining this but his English (machine translation) was too poor to be followed. Perhaps he should have provided the instructions with his own language and someone else could have translated it properly.

    Az ?n fordit?som nem ?rted sajnos.Hi?ba ?rten?d mert igy csak a 204,204GLK megy a DAS-ban. Sajnos 207-212 nem.M?g prob?lkozom.My fordit?som you were not worth it unfortunately.you would take it vainly dared so only the 204,204GLK is going the DAS-ban. Unfortunately 207-212 no.yet prob?lkozom.

Use dev DAS key you've prototypes, without special setting when you click it you'll get error.

    Still waiting for a solution.

well ... I can teach you how to enable ALL prototypes in DAS.. but tell me for which reason do you NEED this? Do you have some CAR (prototype) to make diagnosis?????? becose... seriously.. I can see ....

In DAS Sim W212-prototype is working only in developer mode in comparison with W204-prototype.Next week I will test it out on a car.
