    Default RNS 510 Black screen

    Hello, i have a RNS510 Continental 1T0 035 680 C .Problem is it doesn`t boot i have a black lcd and the cd doesn't work. Any chance i can connect it to a serial port and program the flash memory ?
    Any help is welcomed

    Hi.
    Nobody is wizard. Maybe is problem with software on ST10. Maybe is problem with up mainboard (Tuner with power).
    Many many reasons.

    I was thinking that i can rewrite the S29AL016D90TFA01 - the boot sector flash memory and maybe i need a dump from a functional one -that's way i posted the model and all that data.
    But now that i was guided so well to either hire a magician or throw it in the bin ...
    Guys, i was hoping for some guide lines here, i got the tl866 already ordered and i`m looking for solutions.

    You wasted money.C boards belong to trash,they are very poorly made.
    It is better to order new motherboard.

    Dont trashtalk for nothing.
    Version C board has bad tracks,you can fix ST10 bad tracks,but eventually new ones will form.
    Even taking out board from casing can damage it.
    There are photos of delaminated boards where damaged tracks can be seen.

    have you tried with the recovery CD to see if you can resuscitate the radio?
    when you turn on the radio the logo appears and then it goes black?
