    Default Saab 9.3 1.8T P0033

    P0033 Turbo/Super Charger Bypass Valve Control Circuit

    The boost gauge in the dash works ok.
    The intercooler pipe become hard during acceleration.
    The Bypass Valve has been changed, it's new.
    The Bypass Valve works correctly.

    The Boost pressure sensor in the intercooler has been changed.

    Data provided with latest Launch

    Live data: at idle
    Absolute pressure: 0.64 bar
    Atmospheric pressure: 0.7 bar
    Boost pressure: 1.25 bar

    Live data: at 2000 rpm in NEUTRAL
    Absolute pressure: 0.3 bar
    Atmospheric pressure: 2 bar
    Boost pressure: 1.25 bar

    Something is not right.
    Boost pressure doesn't change and is always the same even with key off.
    Atmospheric pressure CHANGE?!

    Did Launch put wrong name to the labels??
    I think they assigned the "atmospheric" to the "boost" and viceversa.

    Both result with old and new sensor.

    The fact that Boost pressure was always 1.25 bar is what get my hand pick up the phone
    and buy a boost pressure sensor.

    But when arrived, changed and tested it show the same result!

    Dafaq Launch put me out of street.

    At least the DTC is not here but be sure car will be again in the very next days.

    What will I change this time?

    Do not quote me on this

    seem to think there is 4 pressure sensors

    VAUGUE MODE ON:-

    look at intake manifold on what you call (lhd) the passengers side two sensors
    or 2 sensors in one.

    i put 1k resistance across it ran 10 mins same but different code

    VAGUEMODE OFF

    Was Banned For Being Certifiably Insane and Stupid
