Question Carprog in-circuit read of 93c56 (Nissan GT-R)

    Hi All,

Using a carprog 8.21 clone - looking at the rework others have done, this does look slightly revised from the early clones.

Trying to read the 6 pin on the back of the dash with a pogo adapter wired upto the A4 adapter and it fails to verify the dump.
Tried again with 12v on carprog incase unit was drawing too much and same result.

Feel like I'm missing something here...

It could be 93c56 or 93c76

    Thank you @jomberykaso!
Clearly had the wrong pinout.... and indeed it is 93c76 not 93c56 and read perfectly.

Ok sadly the next question... What tools (and/or scripts) have support for GT-R 93c76 kansei algo?

NYO4 reads the correct KM but changes it to something crazy. Script in ETSmart doesn't read correct KM.

Looking at other Kansei algo scripts I get to the right kinda area but can't get the exact mileage.

I have other dumps from users on here that I'm using for comparison and I can't find a value that would fit any of them.

    (0xb73d - (0xB6 <<8 | 0x04)) * 5367 / 100 = 16798
    (0xb73e - (0xB6 <<8 | 0x04)) * 5367 / 100 = 16852
    (0xb73f - (0xB6 <<8 | 0x04)) * 5367 / 100 = 16906

    Odo shows 16883....

Can anyone share the *actual* calculation? I'd like to understand it..

Thanks for the super fast reply!

Just tried it and dash shows 16876 - which is closer than I can get; but still 14 miles out.

I'm swapping clusters (JDM in KM to UK in Miles) - I also tried using the data (0x68-0x76) from original cluster but dash showed 16843...

Ahh, I'm glad I'm not going crazy.

Was struggling to understand how they fit this mileage into a 16bit number!

Thank you for all your help
