    Default Oscilloscope Opinion

Hey Guys, i'm in the market for an oscilloscope i used to use a hanatech ultra scan which had the inbuilt scope. i sold that and bought a x431 now i need a new scope.

I have been looking at this one: Tektronix THS3014 100MHz Handheld Oscilloscope

    Any thoughts or opinions?

Been using picoscope for more years than I care to remember, if you are using scope for
automotive you will only need a lo to mid range one.

Picoscope by far the best of its type but Auto Ditex do similar and far cheaper. Their accessories are far cheaper as well. Hantek ok ISH but stay away as their sampling rate is crap.
    V Series TMS470 / EEPROM data - encryption / decryption, totally pwned.

I use Picoscope for many years and in my opinion for automotive use is the best option price VS quality.
You can also use CAN decoder and many other things.
They have some cheap oscilloscopes start 100 Euro and have more expensive options.

Sincerelly I can only recommend !

I have Picoscope 2ch and Hantek 8ch but this one is yet to be unboxed. So have a read to Dunker.
x431 can show waveform of sensors, injectors, etc.

It's a good DSO for general electronics but I feel annoying with its noise suppression on autoelectronics, any good remedy ?

as regards power supplys, ive always built my own scopewise i used to use one on my crypton cmd 500,i mostly do radio repairs so my main scopes i mostly use are a tek 453 and a kenwood DCS-8200 dso, both an overkill for car work tho tbh.
