    Default Strange BMW issue

Went to a 2009 3 series BMW to do a spare key. All doors were opening-locking on old remote. Downgraded security software and programmed new remote.

Car starts and opens-locks all doors apart from drivers door. Both remotes old and new not working with drivers door ?

    AVDI was used

Anyone seen this happening before ?

    Thank 👍🏻

Why would you downgrade CAS with working key available?!
Guided fault finding = Feature that many factory scan-tools have and real technician despise it.

Just bad luck that the actuator went at the same time as you worked on the keys. I get it all the time, " Ever since you made me a new key, the handbrake squeaks."

If the FRM is gone Yanhua does a brilliant wee add-on to fix it.

I've been out to one where nothing would work on the drivers door, turns out to be water ingress in the FRM module, water leaks in from the A-pillar and fried it. Worth pulling out and popping the cover off it.
