Dominic Cummings: Most voters think aide broke rules.

The number of people who believe the prime minister's senior aide Dominic Cummings should resign after he drove 260 miles during lockdown increased following the news conference he gave on Monday, a poll has suggested.

According to snap research by polling company YouGov, 59% of voters believe he broke coronavirus rules and should resign. A similar poll, carried out before his press conference, found 52% thought he should go.

Some 71% of those surveyed said Mr Cummings had breached regulations.

Boris Johnson has backed Mr Cummings, saying he acted reasonably and legally.

On Monday, Mr Cummings said at a Downing Street news conference that he did not regret his actions and believed he acted reasonably.

Well our GOVT already told us we could go were ever if the gurney is necessary that includes going to and from work if you are able to prove it, I do not see he did anything wrong as the Police never question him before, only the tabloids barking like dogs usually, and why are the tabloids allowed to move from county to county freely if this lockdown was intended for all citizens then they should stay lockdown yes or no?

It may have escaped your notice but his job is not stopping the virus spreading it is advising the PM on how best to stop it spreading. Him spreading it is neither here nor there.

I think our GOVT should now look into how the media behaves haven't the media done enough damage, look how Lady Dyane ended her life they only interested in selling papers and they don't give up rattling.

Cummings isn't an MP SJ, and even if he was, the journey to Durham had sweet FA to do with Goverment business.

I did not mention any MP names, it's you who don't know what you are trying to prove, the law says he may have broken the law but they are not going to prosecute does that make any sense to you there could be more then the business he may have made that journey we not suppose to know, so you are above the law you know everything we don't know.....Tell us!
