    That did not work (same "Coded anti-start Code ADC2 reading or writing error")

    IF DID NOT WORK TRY THIS ONE
    I tried your RED COMPLI EPROM 95160 0 281 010 707, but .dim file says "Incorrect ECU file or Family not enabled (E17)".

    After flashing one-by-one (not from .dim), I still have the same ECU and BSI faults and same problems

    ECU:
    Code:
    Coded anti-start Code ADC2 reading or writing error
    BSI:
    Code:
    Permanent fault. Absence of communication with the engine management ECU.
    All fuses and cables checked, ECU<->BSI CAN comm lines have good continuity:

    • yellow wire Nr 9000 BSI 40Nr pin2 <-> ECU 32Nr pinA4 [Haynes manual says pinC4 but it's not true!]
    • white wire Nr 9001 BSI 40Nr pin4 <-> ECU 32Nr pinA3

    I have EDC16C34 as spare (it's from newer car, 2008 with DPF/FAP) -- can I flash the same int+ext mem + immo off eeprom from here
    EDC16C3 to EDC16C34 ?

    Today I'll connect logic analyser to the CAN-hi and CAN-lo wires and see if waveform is nice

    There is a crack somewhere in the twisted CAN wires near BSI. As I move them around, dashboard comes into life!! And the car is 100% fixed!

    I'll do a load test next to see exactly where it is and splice-replace the wires.

    I got mislead at the beginning since continuity test was always showing good continuity, but it was probably sensitive to voltage changes because this is how CAN works...

    Thank you for all those who helped so well! I learned so much!!!

    YOU HAVE TO CHECK BAD CONNECTION IN THE BLACK PLUG IN THE BSI ; I THINK WIRE NUMBER 2 AND 4 ; CHANGE THE WIRES INSIDE THE PLUG IF NECESSARY !! GOOD LUCK

    interesting read, any photos of broken connector/wires? mouse damage or what happened?
    Does all work as it supposed to, after repair of BSI connection?
