Default VW T5.1 dash swap problem 7E0920 970N

Trying to fit a replacement dash with temp and fuel guages to a vehicle that has a lowline dash .
Replacement dash wont program due to eeprom checksum errors ,not sure whats been done before it came to me.
Is this recoverable or is dash scrap.

Anyone else got a solution, or is it possible to use another dump?

I have tried with Odis ,it fails with an error that dash is faulty or not compatible.
When checking with odis or vcds it gives check sum errors.
I've tried eeprom prep with smok, still gives no access to read Skey.

In ori eep, put FF from 12c0 to 145F and write this damaged eep to dash. Then try smok by obd to acces dash. If acces is ok write by obd original eep and then edit or load ori security block from original working dash.
