2007 325i CAS3+ eep is corrupt

Edit: it's a 2007 335i not 325i.

Tried to read key data AKL and make a dealer key OBD VVDI2. I found out that's not safe and should be benching these types.

Before making key the red no key light was coming on, but now dash shows nothing and can't sync DME - CAS. Can someone confirm this is the problem because customer isn't telling me everything and there may have been and existing issue. Also does someone have a donor eep for this one please, thank you.

Your eeprom in boot mode and Flash seem not correct.

Here you have eeprom repaired + good flash same as sticker.

Write and report back

Thanks for helping Lion. Wrote back to CAS and verified, same result. ELV sync and DME/CAS sync was successful with APP, but still the same result.

Did a scan with easy diag and it doesn't detect like half the modules in the car. Need to talk to customer and figure out wth he is telling me. Found out from his mechanic friend today that he bought the car like this, but customer says it was running so it's frustrating. The guy seems like an honest person, but who knows, maybe a wolf in sheep's clothing.

It's weird because the dash red key light was coming on for sure before AKL was attempted. That was almost 3 months ago though. We were both on pause for most of that time due to the pandemic scare. If anyone has any ideas please, I'm all ears.

CAS3+ AKL you need also ISN from ECU to make key. Did you read ISN from ECU before program key?

please stop using this shit cracked CAS Editor... the eeprom is not in bootmode.
and he doesnt need ECU ISN to make AKL, becuase the dump is uncrypted!!!

please try this flash and report after, pass by pm

Hang on, sorry for the confusion fellas. This MCU is 0L01Y, should have said that before. The reason I said it was CAS3+ was because thought it had been dealer updated. Is that not possible with 0L01Y MCU CAS3 module? Are they all just CAS3 non encrypted?

It can be cas2 even when it says cas3 on the module label? I'm not doubting anyone, just trying to learn.

So I just don't get it. In between now and when I originally worked on this POS it was displaying the key light. Found out the fuse box is missing about 1/3rd of the fuses now though, some in wrong spots too. Looks like it had water ingress as well. Replaced those and she turns on and kicks over. Original files were fine apparently. Thank you to everyone who helped.
