It all depends on quality of your clone and what car you own

I flashed Subaru Tribeca 3.0 with Kess,no problem.
Tried to write back Ktag BDM flash with Kess to EDC16C3 Grand Vitara 1.9 DDIS.No problem.

You would need to send the file to the master of your slave
