Hi I've tried to clone a ecu for a BMW EDC17CP02 with ktag did a full read and swapped over the to new ecu but when trying to sraty I get error code

EWS anti-tampering protection"

Any one help me out with this thanks

you will need to sync DME and EWS using BMW diagnostic tool like ISTA D to resync the rolling immobiliser code together

Hi would inpa work? Also been told has its edc17 re synch won't work is that true

Sync is for ews3 systems or older
Esc17 has ews4 System and does sync automatically


Recover donor ecu to original state

Post ecu dump Original and donor
And cas dump

Dont know exactly where ISN was stored, habe to look in my notes. Just post whole content when I’m home I will take a look

Immo off as far as I know is in Flash (but not sure)

1-Immo off is in flash
2-you can change isn and put old isn to new used ecu
3-you can put new used ecu's isn to cas-ews
4-these new bmw ecu,cannot clone even if you read full,car wont start

this is your immo off file, you must calculate chks
