    Default Z16XE sluggish

Hi,I have z16xe, I have errors and I think is ECU, it is not responsive sometimes to acc pedal, sluggish a lot, it starts good. Egr is clean, I erase dtcs and I get missfire on cylinder 1. I will order spark plugs and coil.

Take out the pre cat 02 sensor see if misfire has caused the cat to melt and block
also check on live data on opcom see if the ACC pedal is responding in the ECU and TB

Having such a low number of DK thanks will cause a weak mixture, this weak mixture
causes the engine to overheat melting the cat

could also be running rich so remove lamda sensor and check

#black lamda sensor too much fuel
#white lamda sensor not enough fuel

find me an areoplane to drag them from

This “flashing” stuff you have to be aware you can kill an ecu

so do that as last resort

SImple trick... start the engine... disconnect the egr.... get in to the car.... an press the gas pedal. Is there an difference ? More powerfull? Than its the egr.

If its running worse or still has misfire it has nothing to do with the egr. I would say it's your coil and or your o2 sensor. Because real misfire happens mostly only if you have some failing ignitions. all other things like to lean or to rich do not cause heavy misfire in idle... flashing your ecu will not get you to an final solution. Because even its flashed... why should then the problems stop`? problems with egr are more during driving... or the engine dies as soon as you press clutch etc...

but misfire etc shows clearly problems in your ignition and o2 system. Check it with op-com... turn on the graphs. the o2 sensor should always go up and down from 0.100V - about 0.800V sometime like an sinus wave.... if its broken it just does "something" and the graph does not make sense
