Default Kangoo II BCM N3 95160

    Hello,

    Renault Kangoo II 2012 - BCM N3.

Having a bit of a ball ache with this one and want to get some information on how best to proceed.
Currently the vehicle has no keys. A VA2T decoder has been used to rectify this.

Now the vehicle requires key programming. I currently run an Autel MP808 and CarProg (genuine).
Obviously with the Autel I need the security code. I am unsure if carprog can actually access the IMMO on this, I have to check with them.

I have removed the BCM and taken a dump from the 95160 onboard. Currently I cannot seem to find any solutions to read this dump correctly. I have tried various software and vehicle profiles within but get no results.

I need to check firstly if the information is actually stored in the flash and if so, whats the best procedure for reading out? I want to try and avoid purchasing things which actually cant do the job. I already have an OBDlink SX and so am tempted by the offers on RenoLink but again, I feel with access to the BCM there must be a standard way of reading this.

I have attached the dump from the 95160, possibly I am just missing something.
If there is anyone who may want to give it a go at getting the code out of this, that would be very much appriciated.
I am more than willing to put the work in to do it but of course there is a leaning curve that is stopping this job being smooth and quick.

Thanks again, as I say information on this vehicle would be great.

    Hello,

Thanks for the messages. The dump is correct. It is definitely a 95160. Same chip is used here and in the ECU.
I am really not in the mood for popping open the ECU right now, especially as the immo off requires a Julie, which makes me think its obviously not easily recovered via the eeprom.
The feeling is, as I have seen something else where, that the information is in the flash.

Carprog should connect up to this MCU fine and, so I will have to pull out the BCM again and read the MCU.
They thought about it a bit more on these models didn't they? Maybe I should bite the bullet and get Renolink (saves pulling anything out in the future).

I will update you on how the read goes.

    Thanks again.

P.S im not putting the VIN up here, you don't need it to get the code (if you could read dumps, then you could see the VIN anyway).

    Hello,

I have an Autel system, it might give the code you want.
I will get an image later and update here.

    Thanks

    Hello again,

So I have the following information from my Autel.
Of course this is a different code every time and I don't know when I will get the right time to send to someone. I don't really like offloading my work but I guess we all have to start somewhere.

    20200629_203915.jpg

I have also connected to the vehicle with ddt4all and I believe I have the ISK.

I have tried to use the Renault pin extractor and I am pretty sure it wont do the 2012> Kangoo algorithm (algo6??).
I tried to convert using the options available but it seems like the correct Johnson Controls BCM/UCH is not listed.
Therefore the correct pin code is not being decoded.

    Hello,

SO I get the same results as the last post. "Invalid"
The VIN is correct but maybe DDT4All is giving wrong ISK?
It seems to be the same all over the software though.

I am pretty sure its the Algorithm. BCM states Algo6. In the Pin extractor software, there is no Johnson Controls Kangoo 95160.
So i think that the calculated information is definitely going to be wrong.

As you can see here, its a 95160.

Looks like I may have to go the Renolink route or pull the BCM again and connect up to the NEC chip and read all from there.
    Fun fun fun.

Thanks for all the help so far, of course we are not done yet, still need a solid solution for future work.
