Went to a VW polo here 8 cut HU162 dealer sold the key to customer without a blade and unprogrammed. They said they couldn’t cut the blade and therefore couldn’t program the key.

Jimmy , dont look at the crazy aspect , look at the potential instead , id be straight on the phone to your local dealer and offer to cut the blades for them for a fee , even code it for them as if a dealer supplied key it will already contain the cs for the car and they will have access to the pin code too, but a nice local earner cutting blades for them that leads on to other things with them , so rather than crazy it could be a blessing , i have a great arrangement with the local masarati dealer for the same situation as well as others .

Just bought a Skoda 9 cut version, i managed to decode and cut with Futura, but haven't managed to pick it yet, are the wafers still needs to be on a tight bounce , like you do normally??

ps, the 2 arms on the 9 cut are a bit stiff grease between the arms didn't help so a bit difficult to get the feel, and i can only feel the wafers on the unnumbered grid! 3 top and 3 at the buttom.
