    Default I MESSED UP- need BDM

    Hi all, i messed up a friends 2007 V.W Touran 1.9 tdi, after i flashed a so called good file i had a non starter, i tried to write original back but kess wouldnt let me, so i bdm the ecu on bench maps have checksum error, would someone have a bdm file for this ecu, cheers, goodluck.

    try write ori file with recovery option on kess, its like normal writing but with very slow speed, i have success with that option sometimes .. try few times, sometime wont work on first attempt..

    Or just insert your kess read into your bdm read and flash it back, it’s easy. If you can’t - upload files here, someone will help, 1 minute job.

    tried everything alme, bdm read/writh but i cant find a bdm read for the ecu, i got one on the bay for 30 quid so i'm just gonna put a new one in, thanks for reply, goodluck.

    hi, i didn't know it was possible to writ an obd file through bdm ?

    ecu wont connect now, either bdm or by obd, kess says generic error when i try to id or read, ktag now says unknown ecu, so i just give up on it, i managed to get a matching numbers ecu on the bay for £30, thanks for chiming in jurebv, best of luck to you.

    which version of kess software do you have?
    try selecting protocol 62 in list.

    done that treble6, got new ecu, coded it and car ran sweet for a couple of miles then lost power, now i have fault code p1669 pd unit injector cylinder 4 electrical malfunction, any ideas ?
