I can't see good on your picture but pins 1,2,3 and 4 should be connected to MCU.
Pin 5 should be connected to GND and pin 8 to +5V.If this is right remove this chip and read it in programmer.

this is the correct eeprom.
check the text on eeprom, its saying 93c 66
and lcd desolding was not needed, (if you find pinout), which you can make now yourself with multimeter tool

First file was readed as 8bit and because that it is not good, not because it was read by UUPA !
Second file was readed as 16bit and it is good
