hello
i received a dash with temperature always on 90+ Celsius
on car or on bench same
on car if engine is warm temp show over red mark
software??

if everything else works on dash i would try with power off resetting the needle to its rest position. ( remove power and then remove needle then power on bench and reset neele to just below the 50 mark approx 5milimetres, or the same as the fuel gauge drops too).
then power up and make sure it starts to move.
it was common on these to have the needles trapped or moved when replacing the front panel.
