Default EGS52 tcm ktag reading flash

    Hello guys,

After reading the unit, with Ktag 225, at the end of the read, checksum error notifications pops-up.
    Eeprom reading is gooed.

Each flash reading, the 4 first lines are the same, and the total length is the same.
The rest is different every reading.

I have tried with galletto, could not get it to read.

Anyone can confirm that reading, and writing these with ktag225 is possible.

    Ktag 225 clone.

yes ... did it before with ktag succesfully ... if you can't with ktag ... try clone it manually (universal programmer) ... tell me also if you have p2502

This is a spare module, never plugged it in a car myself. So i dont know if it is about a P2502 dtc.

I have a programmer, vvdiprog, to read these.

Would like to do these the easy way,
The car, W211, owner complains about a very late shift in the morning.
    Warm, it shifts way sooner.
Could be the lambda cat warming,
They tried a different ecu, (sim4lke) no differences.
Now they want to see if the tcm is the cause.

So being able to write these quick, with ktag clone would be handy.

    Thank you

i don't think tcm is the cause of the problem ... but if you need to try go ahead ... problem most likely will be a mechanical issue

Need to make sure, mechanical issue could be expensive.
    You are probable right!

And i would like to be able to read these, so the vvdiprog will be the best choice for now.
Will get another extra unit, just to fully test the ktag programming.

    Thank you

but remember mechanical issues start with checking oil ( quality and quantity ) and filter ... i don't have vvdi ...
