Cs and pin is different in kessy from ecu but both have the correct VIN.

Key programs in using ecu pin but dash and ecu don't wake up when you insert the key. Vvdi says key is correct dealer key and learnt.

But engine start not permitted and no response from ecu.

I tried to recode the ecu but it wouldn't read the power class.

Anyone got any ideas what's wrong?

Car is 2004 Audi A8 kessy, remote don't work, car don't respond with keyless start and neither if you turn the key.

Vvdi says the key is a dealer key when key is in the car and when it's put into ignition.

Key will relearn in ignition when using pin from ecu.

Vvdi says key not permitted to start and no response from ecu.

Ecu wakes up if using force ignition but cluster stays dead.

Car should really be scrapped the state it's in but customer wants to fix it.

So wondering if anyone knows of similar problems and how to sort it.

Or possibly can you reprogram all modules to match in case there is a problem or is it easier to get a complete ecu set.
