Default RD4N1M-03 Vin paste and checksum

    Hi!Please repair my dump.
    New vin : VF33H9HYB84345000
    Thanks!

Who can calculate the checksum for the new VIN number (VF34E9HR8AS333157) for the PEUGEOT RD4N1M-03 radio.
If you simply change the VIN number in the firmware (without checksum), the radio beeps periodically

I'm not sure, but you can try and give a result!

    Is this your dump?
You have 2 VIN numbers in your post. Which one is correct?

This is a VF77 radio not a VF34 radio... VIN checksum calculated by OBDII tool, try using LEXIA...

Is it possible that this dump is original? VIN number is written in small letters, is this normal? I think someone has tried to do something with it, but without success!

I don't understand how this model has a different algo, surely VF77 and VF34 are only relevant vehicle type in relation to assigned vin. VF77 is a Berlingo and VF34 is a 308. But the radio won't know or care about that, as it only has to mirror the vin held in the bsi.

Are you boys using some automated program to calculate the new checksums or doing all of them manually?

This is what I saw mate. So I assumed some sort of automated program was being used, rather than calculated manually.

Of course it will work. It is only a Continental RD4N1M-03 radio and has the normal algo.

With the right knowledge a simply value change near the vin numbers can give Aux 1 on/off, Aux 2 on/off, PDC on/off, KML Nomad (HFK) on/off, CDC on/off etc etc.

I have genuine CLIP here but it definitely wouldn't program these radios I'm afraid buddy.
