Hi.audi a4,2003,diesel,dashboard-rb4.I need to change the dashboard.
after replacement component security, I have:
eprom uk - all work. vag-com - no mistakes.
eprom eu - speedometer needle does not work and does not count mileage.
vag-com - 1 error-no communication with the gearbox.
Transmission-mechanical.how to change automatic to manual ?
correct the dump if possible so that there is no error.thank.

Hi, your EU cluster is old, MJ 2001, and have different speed signal source . You must change in EU eeprom 0x33a data from 21 to 31, write it, and all must be OK.

For good job with R4/RB8 need put dash to virgin mode then coding this to car .All job only obd2 away.
Just swap eep .....this sulution not for this dash type.

changed 21 to 31 and it worked
