Burned EDC16CP31

Hi All,

A client brings his broken ecu to me.
I try to read with Ktag Service mode but no joy
I flipped the ecu to read it in Bdm and same story of course
You can see that the positve terminals are burned.

Any know how i can get out eeprom data?

Hi !
Usually on edc16 , the eeprom can be read with a programmer ! It's like a 95160 or something like that have a look for it

It has a virtual eeprom in the Mirco, no sepparate mirco.
If it was it was already fixed

Best get ews / cas unit and got data from there.
Or swap all the three parts (flash, eeprom, micro).

Yes sorry you are right ... No eeprom on this ECU.
