Default JLR Emergency Start BCM Programming

    Hi
What tools are people using to add the new keys they have programmed to the KVM on the bench to the vehicles BCM, to enable emergency start ?. Looks like most are only programming to the KVM and then either not telling the customer they have no emergency start function or telling them and giving them a spare battery for the key for when it needs changing.

Ive heard the emergency start side of the job can be done via OBD but struggling to find any information on this. I'm keen to do spares and lost on these with emergency start enabled.

If there is a thread for this already apologies and mod's delete and point me in the right direction

    Thanks

    I see that too.
I'm interested to know if possible via OBD.

but for after 2015, vvdi2 have an option do to this on bench...not via OBD.
You have choice to register the key only in the KVM or on BCM too to activate emergency start

Don't use Abrites on anything 2014 and above!!! writes to p-flash
    You have been warned...

SDD is best tool - 2nd above. Aftermarket tend to have no comms or need battery reset or worse trip to main dealer.

I have tool and use it on on older <2016 models where module not locked.

    google it....

Correct but they say clearly that they cant do it after a certain year
As for SDD be very careful with key programming they released a patch in BCM that will block some KVMs even if one takes it back to Virgin state so I would advise use older versions of SDD with older Files.
I see you have Im608 and ACDP how are they with the new KVMs?
Has anyone had good experience with Lonsdor?

ACDP works good on KVM up until newer units around 2017. Have used 608 up to 2012 works well

And what's to stop you doing KVM on the bench then adding the key obd? Although I have not tried it.

Yeah but wish Abrites would come with a warning or ideally do some check. Instead just flys thro and does it's damage!

SDD on prox keys vehicles always connects to the server and downloads latest flash file. Yes understand locks (blocks) further keys being added on FK72 etc models.

It's the only tool i'd trust via OBD - let alone IM608 which sticks to Asian cars

    Hi
Is a way to read Some BCM and use data with Lock50 Tagpro HW01 and SW08 BCM Software to emulate current key data on the Lock50 HW02 Emulator for emergency start
Also is solution for Many RFA from 2017 to 2020 where in bench with HW04 Coming soon with HW13 Solder free adapter can read RFA data :Locked or unlocked and pre code Emergency start key and soon Remote Key
