    I wouldn't remove P0171. That's a sign that there's something wrong with the fuel mixture (way too lean).
    When you continue driving with this fault you can also burn the valves and then it will be an expensive repair.
    The other dtc (P0420) could be the result of the P0171 fault and the cat may not be damaged (yet).

    I have had a chat with the mechanic.
    I told him, to get another ecu, to test.
    He is convinced that the wiring is fine, and replaced the sensors twice.

    This afternoon, i will clone the immo. And go from there.

    Which sensors did your mechanic replace? The Oxygen sensors?

    i dont know, customer needed the car, for a holiday trip.
    I will know more, when he returns.

    I did take the time to clone the eeprom, on a 03D906023B from a Fox.
    The values and dtc are the same. So we can rule out the ecu itself.
