    Hi Lambda

Looking at postage it would be 3-5 working days to Germany, i could bubble wrap and box the ecu up. Im not sure if it would be good for the ecu getting thrown around by the postal service but im guessing it gets plenty of vibration under the bonnet of the van anyway on the UK roads. I would be willing to take the risk and ok with 3 weeks with the the van off the road.

Would a bdm still keep the setup of the ecu for the factory fitted options of the van (tacho etc), is this information you would get from my origional read file?

Bobolin4o mentioned that the egr + dpf off have been done to a poor standard after a bdm file this should be back to factory im guessing.

If you were happy for me to send this over to you, let me know. Cheers mate

Should i look at the possibility of getting a used ecu and swapping it but im sure that would involve immobiliser, keys and injectors needing to be programmed?

Is anyone local in the Midlands UK that might be able to help if i dropped the ecu off with a drink?

Ill put the plan to up the power from the 136 to 164 map on hold i think and concentrate on fixing the mess ive created

Thank you all for the help guys, very appreciated
I am from Somerset, if you fancy a drive then i can do it for free

Or if you go on ebay and buy a *plug & play* ECU then that would work also
Eight bytes walk into a bar. The bartender asks, “Can I get you anything?”
“Yes,” reply the bytes. “Make us a double.”

Peechie, that is a great offer mate. I could take the ecu off the van and drive down to you. Would you be around on Wednesday if not maybe Tuesday or Thursday? (time to suit you as it would be doing me a big favour).

if a bdm file is put on, I will need to re upload a map after with egr+dpf deleted again to the ecu?

    thank you
