+/- 2,3 car slip .......+/- 50-100km drive and dsg (200/250...(about 500 not tested jet)) take km from kluster.

I tested on golf 6 gtd dq250, drove 2000 km and mileage on dsg not updated by cluster, still ori mileage.
I don't think it work with all model

it would be too beautiful .. for me it does not work, I checked several times for golf, passat, t5 and never rewrote km

DSG mileage can only be reset, it cannot be synced to cluster unless you removed it physically and change the data on the bench

reset = 0

there is no sync, if there was then the original mileage would bounce back like a new merc

same goes for the ecu, miles are stored but they are not synced

You can do it on two way . First put dsg can filter in Getway (smok works ok ) , second way read eternal eeprom and post dump and ID from dsg (dq200,250, G1 or G2 ) dq 380 ,...... I can help you . Please ignore previous messages about some "self update new km from IC " not true . After make new km on dashboard some measure blocks get new km when you driving but total km cant get from IC ,total continue counting .
Thats info is from my experience and I success finished minimum 50 dsg different modules .

I use MagPro Flex and read on vehicle on connector which I make (20 minutes job )

do you need to drill small hole for boot pin also I need to correct in ECU so If I use filter in gateway is this a better option or will I still need to correct ECU separately

Some dsg work too with io terminal, you can read by gearbox plug
