    Default ECU has been encoded

    Hello guys,

I have a friend whose car got remapped and he wanted to reduce the fuel because of the smoke. Multiple people claimed that his ECU was encoded/encrypted. Is that even possible? In order to execute something encrypted, it has to be decrypted at some point, which means the car should know how to decrypt itself? How does it work? I attached the "encoded/encrypted" ECU.

That's what I'm talking about. It's something strange going on with this ECU and I could also open his previous ECU, read by same device.

    I compared them in 010 Editor. https://i.imgur.com/vV7OmTK.png

What's that https://i.imgur.com/4SzJVG4.png? It can be found only in B, the file from mirslav88 (with removed NOREAD flag)
