VW Discover Media 5C0035680B not working / repair
Hi,
Does anyone have experience with repair of a VW Discover Media module?
It suddenly stopped working and now no button light, display,..nothing.
Holding the power button for some time does not help.

Hello all,
I get this unit bricked. No power on, black display, no emergency update possible (terminal not working).
Have backup of everything (eep, emmc, flash).
I tried to rewrite flash with dump from working unit. Now it can be powered ON, everything working, but
after some time it power off. I have connected only main +12V and GND, nothing more. Is there other +12V,
or it only need CAN network ? I made FW update, UART ON and CP OFF. Log from putty is attached.
Somewhere I read, that it will not work with flash dump from another unit. Is that right ? If yes, is any chance
to restore original firmware ?
