    I am doing the same for the Espace dash & BII. I bought one from Elrasoft, it arrived in less than a week to the UK. Don't expect to get any help from them though. I have asked 3 times for support on adaptors & have not got a reply.
    For me I think it would have been better to have bought the
    ETL http://www.etlweb.com/?ref=products_programming_tools version that comes with adaptors. & if you mail them you can negociate on price.
    I have ordered a clam type holder for the chip so I don't have to solder it to the adaptor & I see you can get one of these for the ETL.
    Can anyone point me in the direction of articles regarding using this with the tacho universal, this would save me removing the chips & would be a great help, Thanks.
    I'm off to do some searching about this.

    @florinyes
    You may want to get some of these too. 7" Female-Female Header Jumper : Store @ CuriousInventor.com

    This company are in the US,but i use them a fair bit, with no probs. They have lots of of goodies here!

    These are good for putting on the test clips and then to your programmer, and also on the pins of clusters etc. i cant get enough of these little buggers. And also the male type.

    Cheers

    I bought a pack of female crimp pins from Maplin & used insulation tape to wrap them as I couldnt find the small heat shrink. It does the job, not as good as ready made though. Thanks Adam I will keep them in mind.

    Anyone here had any success with this programmer. I have been trying to read motorolla hc908's. Both on board & off, in a clamshell adaptor. I have not found any usefull help files for their software & tech support tells me to go read a different chip!! If there is a good forum you know of then let me know. I currently have it telling me I have an error of hi reset. Does not matter how many times I have checked the connections & have tried 3 chips. & how do you enter the security bits.
    Thanks in advance.
    (anyone got a tacho universal they want to rent me?)
