just change the value on the hex mentioned above and mileage will show up.......
Hey all!
I am trying to remove the tachgraph from my 2004 Sprinter. (Kienzle A0014460333)
If I just unplug it, the odometer goes to 0 km and the speedometer doesn't work.
I was told that I should take off the meters, solder off the component 93c66 from behind the meters
and put it to a eeprom reader.
I should change the value 64 from row 2 to value 20.
In addition I should insert back the kilometers, otherwise it goes to 0
- this apparently needs a separate program to be done right...?
Does this sound right to you? Can you help me with a bit more specific instructions?
I know what eeprom is, I know how to find the component and do soldering,
I've watched how to use hex editor to modify data, but I am not sure what to do
exactly with the data and how to get the kilometers in it.
I am newbie on the field. but eager to learn!!
Thank you for your help in advance!

Thanks for lending a hand! Is it really simple as that though? Do you think "changing value 64 from row 2 to value 20" is enough or is there something more I have to do to disconnect the tachograph properly?
In some other thread people were saying that there are multiple values in the coding that should be changed..? People were sharing a whole dump to fix this...
hello
put dump eeprom here
