Hi Jeff.
You should start from fault codes first. A diagram alone ain't gonna help you. I believe those Toyota have self-diagnosis.
Start from there and someone here will find you a diagram(I will search my archives later for a manual).
I have my daughters pick-up on my driveway and it will not start.
Have been hunting for a manual with decent wiring diagrams with no luck.
It is a 2.4 turbo diesel, year 2003, extra-cab ( 2 door/5 seats ), Denso/Toyota engine control
unit 89666-35260. ( 2KD-FTV ). 2 wheel drive.
I can find manuals for earlier models and for later manuals but there seems to be a 4 or 5 year
gap in the lists of those available.
I would appreciate it if anyone is able to upload/send me a PDF of the manual or can point me
in the direction of a supplier.
Jeff

First of all, thanks for responding to my original post.
I obviously left out some information at that time. I should have said that I have attempted to read OBD codes but without any success. Whilst there is a series of dashboard indicators coming on with the key turned to the ' On ' position, the ' Engine Check Indicator ' does not illuminate as normal. There is no power to the Injector driver which I believe is powered through the Engine Control Unit and there is no power to the Fuel Suction Control Valve. Non of the diagrams I have found seem to match the connectors on the 2KD-FTV ECU fitted in this vehicle. I would like to be able trace the wiring from the keyswitch through to the ECU and also the immobiliser circuit as it appears there is a break in the power feed to the ECU or immobiliser circuitry.

Thanks very much for that. I feel much more confident of fault finding with the aid of this. Car harnesses can be the most awkward
of systems to follow around and in such confined and uncomfortable spaces. Also at my age I don't bend as much as when I was younger.
Many thanks again, Jeff.
