I need to install a used TCM in a 1998 Mercedes Benz AVANT GARDE. I would like to know what is the procedure to install this used TCM A1685451532. Do you have to do any configuration or adaptation?

VIN change required. The truth is I don't know how they do it or what tool they use for this. I even understand that they do it on bench.
when you install without making VIN changes you will not see PRND in the instrument cluster

For the ecu on the 168 you just fit it and it will work. no configuration needed.
